An authentic and welcoming place

Set in Strasbourg’s historic market gardeners’ district, La Maison Alsacienne charms visitors with its distinctive character and authentic atmosphere. Its blue shutters open onto a small front garden, typical of traditional Alsatian houses. On one side, a pleasant courtyard is perfect for summer evenings; on the other, private parking accommodates two to three vehicles.

Five adults can sleep in fixed beds. Additional sleeping arrangements for children are available on request, depending on their age: a child’s bed, a travel cot and sofa beds. An ideal setting for time with family or friends, combining authentic Alsatian character and modern comfort.

Living area – ground floor

As soon as you enter, the house opens onto a bright living area of over 40 m², capturing the sociable spirit of homes from another era. Exposed beams, soft colours and wooden furniture create a warm setting for spending time together. The lounge invites you to relax, with a sofa bed sleeping two people.

The fully equipped open-plan kitchen makes preparing meals easy while enjoying everyone’s company around the large dining table. Everything is designed to help you feel at home during your stay in Strasbourg or a weekend in Alsace.

Sleeping area – upstairs

Upstairs, a charming, light-filled sleeping area showcases the house’s authentic character. Natural wood, Kelsch fabrics and exposed beams recall the style of traditional Alsatian homes.

The landing serves as a workspace and play area: a flexible space for guests of all ages. Children can play while adults enjoy a quiet corner for reading or remote work. Every detail is designed for peace, comfort and spending time together in an authentic family setting.

This floor has three sleeping areas:

The intimate, cosy alcove has a bed (90 × 200 cm) for peaceful nights beneath the eaves.
The blue Kelsch bedroom has two 90 × 200 cm beds that can be joined into a double (180 × 200 cm), an antique bed for a young child (55 × 140 cm), and space for a travel cot.
The red Kelsch bedroom, decorated in warm colours, offers two 80 × 200 cm beds that can be joined into a double (160 × 200 cm).

Bathrooms

La Maison Alsacienne has two comfortable, practical shower rooms, one on each floor.

On the ground floor, a modern shower room with a washbasin is next to a separate toilet.
A second shower room upstairs makes daily life easier for families and groups.

Both are equipped with a heated towel rail, a hairdryer and the towels you need for your stay. Everything is provided for comfort and independence in a house where tradition and modern convenience come together naturally.

Separate room for sleeping and relaxing – 2 guests

Adjoining the kitchen but with its own entrance, this peaceful, bright room invites you to unwind. Natural wood, carefully selected objects and a comfortable sofa bed for two create a simple, welcoming space.

It is ideal for a nap, some quiet reading or additional sleeping space during a stay with family or friends. Its calm atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Strasbourg.
